Completed 6 miles in 1 hour 11 minutes and 35 seconds at 8:10 AM. Averaged 1 minute 58 seconds per lap or 11 minutes 50 seconds per mile. Very good pace. The morning walk started out cold around 50 degrees but gradually warmed up as the sun came out. There was a haze from the wildfire that blocked the sunrise. As the weather warmed up, more inmates were out on the track. Stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court. The Yoga practice was nice and relaxing. A couple of inmates joined me for the practice. They were surprised some of the poses looked easy but were very strenuous. I finished off the Yoga with a corpse pose and opened my eyes to the bright blue sky. Felt really good after the practice, no aches or pain. Finished Yoga at 9:30 AM. Had some crackers and an apple for a snack. Census count at 10:00 AM. Lunch was served after the count. Luncheon menu: ground meat, beans, corn, chips and banana. Washed my laundry. Tried calling Doris at 11:00 AM, but she did not answer. Talked to Doris at 11:10 AM: Doris is well but her chest is tight. The kids got up late and will probably be here around 1:00 PM. Doris said Michael Santos published my class report on Warehouse safety on Facebook and there were a few follower. Michael encouraged me to write something on home safety for Facebook. Dogs are well, barking at the neighbors dog. She liked my book report on Great Art and look forward to my class report. She is busy working on her Christmas show inventory.
Karlee and Chris came by the camp visitation at 1:00 PM. The visit was very nice. They inquired when I might get out and asked about the classes I am taking. I told them that I had taken the ServSafe Classes which Chris is aware of. they have been very busy with their work and traveling. We discussed what I was doing at the camp to keep busy. I told them I was working in the sewing room and laundry. Karlee could not believe that I was sewing. We talked about the book and class report that I publish on the web, also the safety class report that was published on Facebook. I intend to write some safety for home and maybe it might get published too, as there was a following on Facebook. They still until 3:00 PM I enjoyed the time spent with them.
Dinner was served at 3:10 PM. Dinner menu: Eggs, pasta, carrots and bread. Census count at 3:30 PM. ACE Classes – Neuroscience 4-4:30 PM, African History 5-5:30 PM and Healthy Mind and Body 7-8 PM. Worked on class report in between classes. Census count at 8:30 PM. Census count at 9:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:10 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
