10/29/2023 Sunday daily diary from Atwater camp.
Woke up at 6:00 AM. Mad up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 71 degrees F. Started walking at 7:00 AM, but I was informed that we cannot use the trail because of the lockdown. Breakfast was served at 7:05 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, bread, jelly and an apple.

- Call Doris.
- Check email form Doris.
- Email Daily diary for 10/28/2023.
- Walk 6 Miles,
- Split stretch.
- Yoga.
- Quotations.
- ACE Classes East European cities 4-4:30 PM, Customs of the World 5-5:30 PM and The psychology of Incarceration 6-6:30 PM.

Signed up for tow more EBRR/PA Classes: Health Wellness Throughout the Lifespan and Healthy Steps for Older Adults. Visitation was cancelled today because of the escaped inmate last night. talked to Doris at 8:20 AM: Doris is well and she sounded better. Doris is happy as she had not had an asthma attack for about two months. I told her we were on a lockdown and confined to the compound, because an inmate had escaped last night, which was counter productive as the inmate was gone and all the counting will not bring him back, only punishes the remaining inmates, similarly with the lockdown. She saw Francis yesterday and asked him to turn off the sprinkler systems. She asked if I was doing any sewing today, I reminded her that we are in a lock down and I can’t go to the sewing room, instead I will be working on my class report.
Census count at 10:00 AM. Lunch was served after the count. Luncheon menu: scrambled eggs, fries, biscuit with gravy and punch. Showered at 1:50 PM. Started my laundry at 2:00 PM. Census count at 3:00 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans and bread. Finished my laundry at 4:00 PM. Submitted 4 class reports today: ACE Class Report – 12 Essential Scientific Concepts, ACE Class Report – Impossible Physics beyond the Edge, EBRR Class Report – Brain Health as You Age and EBRR Class Report – Getting to know Your Healthy Aging Body. Finished inmate uniform laundry at 5:45 PM. Census count at 7:30 PM. Census count at 8:30 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day Albeit were are in lockdown: Doris is well. the dogs are well. Submitted four class reports. Signed up for two more EBRR Classes.
