I’ve known Ryan since he was a teenager. I have personally seen the lives that he has affected in a positive way more so than most people I’ve known throughout my sixty years of life. I watched him grow a company out of the back of his pick up truck into one of the largest premier builders in the state of Arizona. It wasn’t handed to him…he earned it the old fashion way…he earned it by going the extra mile, hard work and following thru with his word. Add to this… Ryan’s genuine care for the people that are around him….The people that worked with him, he helped mirror in his image to eventually go on to own their own business and thrive…to Ryan driving across country, hauling food and supplies to people on the other side of the United States out of his own pocket to help people in time of need when diaster hit. I’ve seen him also take in troubled kids into his business and build them to beat positive in life (The list goes on and on). In short…there’s so much good in Ryan and what he does for society that the sooner we could get him back out there doing what he does best, the better the world will be.
It blesses my heart to speak about the kindness of Ryan Patterson. A choosen one by God to be of a blessing to others. I have witness how Ryan has blessed many in the community and not only in a work related situation but also in a personal and professional manner. He has a heart to help others succeed or advance during any situation while he experiences his own struggles. I admire his courage and willingness to always help others achieve goals and dreams. I feel honored to call him my friend as I have shared a spiritual journey with him and his family.

There are five main things I admire about Ryan Patterson. First, I respect his professionalism and how effectively he manages his multimillion-dollar company, especially given his age. He leads by example, teaching his employees how to become leaders rather than just giving instructions. He’s respectful to his employees and genuinely cares about their well-being.
Second, he’s an outstanding community leader. Ryan is always giving back, donating his time and money to help people in need, particularly veterans. He frequently travels across the country to support communities hit by disasters like hurricanes, floods, and wildfires.
Third, Ryan’s generosity extends deeply to those around him. A specific example is how he helped a mutual friend When she was struggling through a difficult divorce and bankruptcy, Ryan stepped in and offered her financial support, a job, a home, and even a car. She has worked with him for over seven years and is happier than ever. This shows the depth of his compassion and commitment to others.
Fourth, Ryan is a dedicated family man. He’s a loving husband and father who prioritizes his family. He’s constantly teaching his children how to be independent and successful. Despite his demanding career, his family always comes first.
Finally, Ryan maintains an incredibly positive outlook, even in tough times. It’s heartbreaking and deeply unfair that he is currently facing jail time due to an accounting mistake, a situation that’s painful for everyone who knows him. Yet, even now, he continues to smile, stay positive, and set an example of strength and resilience. I’m hopeful and praying for an early release because he has much more to contribute to his family, employees, and community.
I am proud to share this testimonial for Ryan Patterson, someone I deeply admire and consider a true role model. My name is Michael Santos, and as the founder of Prison Professors, I have dedicated my life to inspiring and empowering people navigating challenging circumstances.
Ryan Patterson embodies the exact type of inspiration we want to share with others. He proactively reached out to volunteer his time and experience, helping us build a more impactful job-training program for incarcerated individuals. Ryan collaborated closely with me to develop a master class that we will use to reach and positively impact more than 1 million people in jails and prisons across the country.
What makes Ryan’s story especially impactful is his relatability. Like many individuals we serve, Ryan began his life facing significant adversity. He experienced homelessness and had to overcome numerous struggles, including not having a high school diploma. Yet, despite these significant obstacles, Ryan’s remarkable self-directed work ethic propelled him forward. He used determination, relationship-building, and relentless effort to create opportunities for himself. Ultimately, he built a successful business that provided employment and contributed positively to his community.
Ryan’s journey vividly demonstrates that personal development and perseverance can empower anyone to achieve extraordinary outcomes. It has been my honor to collaborate with Ryan, and I am delighted to offer this testimonial. I encourage others to follow Ryan Patterson’s journey, as he continues to inspire and uplift countless lives.
