Release Plans: Joshua David Nicholas

Release Plan

My release plan involves many moving parts based on which doors open. Ideally, I would like to complete my PhD and teach. However, if my charge (Securities Fraud) prevents me from doing so then I will deepen my newfound skill with software engineering. (My fiance teaches software engineering) Additionally, previous employers have also extended my job offers that I may take if I’m unable to find a good job in software engineering quickly. I’m also in VT where I’m expected to get the FNGLA license later this or next month. In class, I maintained a 98.6% in the class until I went to RDAP where I was then told I couldn’t keep getting a 100% on every test so I’ve lowered my GPA purposefully by getting an 84% on every test since coming to RDAP. With FNGLA I could also use that as a way to get an immediate lower-level job making low 50s but that’s highly unlikely I’ll ever actually use FNGLA for a job. However, some of the stuff I learned can provide a source of supplemental income similar to how I used to play piano for weddings on the side for extra money here and there.
