Journal Entry

Today I rose at 4:30 AM, determined to start the day with discipline and intention.

I began with a 25-minute open-eye meditation, practicing box breathing with a 4-second inhale, 4-second hold, 4-second exhale, and 4-second hold.
During the session, I stayed focused on being present and tuning into my body’s sensations, allowing thoughts to pass without judgment.

Last night, I completed reading Purpose and Profit by Dan Koe — one of my favorite content creators. This morning, I began The Almanack of Naval Ravikant, eager to absorb more insights on wealth, happiness, and leverage.

After my meditation, I moved through some light stretching and shared a peaceful coffee with my wife and our two dogs:

  • Khaos, our energetic 8-month-old Belgian Malinois
  • Zeke, our loyal 2-year-old French Bulldog

We went for a walk together, and I noticed some anxiety surfacing — racing thoughts about the uncertainties ahead.
To reframe my mindset, I listened to a powerful motivational video, where one message particularly resonated:

“You were not born to be caged.
You were born to command.

And command requires discipline.
Discipline begins with thought.

You must learn to still the noise.
Observe your mind like a hawk watches its prey.

Sit in silence.
Master your thoughts.
Break the habit of mental weakness.

Because your subconscious is the seed of habit — and what you think repeatedly becomes law.”

Hearing this elevated my emotional state.
When I returned from the walk, I was charged with new energy — ready to attack my workout with focus and intensity.

Workout Completed:

25 Rounds of:

  • 10 Tyson push-ups
  • 10 bodyweight squats
  • 10 four-count leg raises
  • 10 jumping jacks

Total Reps:

  • 250 push-ups
  • 250 squats
  • 250 four-count leg raises
  • 250 jumping jacks

1,000 total reps moved today.

During the workout, I focused on keeping my internal dialogue positive and powerful.
As my heart rate climbed, so did my state of mind — feeding off each small win, round after round, building momentum with every set.
