I have been serving my community by helping to educate those around me by tutoring them to get their GED. I have dedicated myself to serving others by giving my time to them on a daily basis. I serve my children by giving them my time and advising them on the direction that their life is headed as my oldest daughter makes her way through her senior year. She is not going to waste time because I have been through what she is going through in its entirety. I have a four-year degree so I know the value of not wasting time by choosing a degree frivolously and getting in debt. I have to keep her directed and focused on what it is that she needs to focus on. College is a tool that if used correctly it can bear fruit. If it is squandered it will only create debt.
