I am in the midst of building my team of business partners and potential investors for me to be able to hit the ground running upon my release from custody here in BOP. I know the power of relationships and I am being intentional when it comes to positioning myself back around the types of people that can make a major impact in my growth. I know that timing is everything and even though I still have some time to do. The relationships that I have need to be cultivated right now. I have compiled a list of these peopl and have begun talking with them through letters and emails on the plans I have to reboot my business upon release. I had a successful company for twelve years before getting caught up in this drug conspiracy. I know that I will be more effective when I start anew for the simple fact that I know what not to do this time. There are lessons that I learned while doing business that are valuable to me now. The biggest lessons I learned all came with losses and I have been re-inventing myself and the team of people that will be around me to make sure that this time I will be able to make a greater impact in society and my community initiatives. I want to be a facilitator of change and education in my community and create opportunities by teaching youth how to create businesses and investment opportunities. I am on track with my plans as I work towards my goals on a day to day basis.
