I started my day today thinking no work was scheduled, but they called us in at 8am. Our job was to clean 2 prison buses. I elected to clean the windshield glass and rearview mirrors. I also carried a bucket to where the snow melt was kept and carried it back. The weather was a cool 30 degrees at 8:30am, and when they sprayed the hose to clean the exterior, it made an icy walkway. This was the same walkway I fell and got a concussion on so it was ironic that I retrieved the snow/ice melt and applied it to the walkway.
Just one more day until Shabbat, the anchor of the week. And two days until a jam packed weekend of visits from my loved ones. I can’t wait.
We know of 6 campers leaving in the next 2 weeks and we had 6 new campers arrive within the last 48 hours. Changes seem to be normal here. New faces. New stories. New campers with lives and family.
