A personal mission statement could influence me in a couple of ways. First it would give me a clear view of my core values and understand my goals. Second it would help me to remain focused. By having something in writing that I could look back on daily adds to my sense of focus. I write daily reminders to help me remember simple tasks such as stretching and reading certain literature. It may seem kind of redundant but it helps me stay focused.
