The morning started out dark, foggy, cloudy, breezy and cold – 48 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was overcast and very foggy – visibility was less than 1/4 mile. I could not see the autonomous car company test facility nor their flood lights. I could not check if the rabbits were out grazing on the soccer and baseball fields because the compound gate was closed. They opened the gate at 7:20 AM. I walked in the compound and on the treadmill. As the morning progressed, the sky brightened and all I could see was dense fog and visibility was reduced to a couple of hundred feet. Completed walking 6 miles on the treadmill at 7:35 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 24 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 24 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. The birds were on the roofs and perched on the fences waiting for their breakfast. The sun was up as I could sea bright spot amid the thick fog. The birds feasted on cakes and apples discarded by the inmates, there were over a hundred birds. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:40 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good and I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the spectacular sunset and colorful dusk sky. The sunset was not shielded by clouds or fog and multicolored clouds in the sky. Opened my eyes to the foggy blue sky and partial sunshine. Checked email from Doris at 8:40 AM: Doris is well and rested. She walked 8792 steps, 16.4 inches step length and symmetry was 8.8%. Yesterday was the 328th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. Unfortunately, the GSW lost to the Clippers last night. Karlee and Chris will pick Doris up and drive her to Atwater today. Talked to Doris at 8:45 AM: Doris is well and rested. She was waiting for Karlee an Chris to pick her up. I told her the weather will be nice for visitation. Their expected ETA is 11:30 – 12:00 PM. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:30 AM. Census count at 10:00 AM. Lunch was served at 10:30 AM. Luncheon menu: tacos, rice, corn, apple and water. Had a short nap. Karlee, Chris and Doris arrived at visitation room at 12:15 AM. They are well. CO Mason was in charge of visitation. Chris will look at the washer to see why it was not working, probably the breaker. I told them that we had New York Steak for Christmas luncheon and we will have Cornish chicken for New Year luncheon. I told them I was supposed to be released either to Half Way House or Home confinement on 4/22/2025, but I will know more when I sign my final papers on January 2025. Karlee and Chris will be traveling for their work in January and February 2025. We had Dr Pepper, Arizona drink, potatoes chips, Crunch chocolate and water for snacks. Doris is letting the dogs roam the yard at night as long as they are not barking in the middle of the night. We talked about Crystal’s and Miriam wedding celebration in Melbourne on February 2025. We had a really good visitation and they felt the visitation room at 2:45 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served at 4:00 PM. Dinner menu: cheesy chicken, salad, mixed vegetables, bread and water. Census count at 6:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
