Walked on the elliptical in the exercise room, it was raining in the morning. Walked six miles on the elliptical machine. After the rain stopped, I walked on the trail for three more miles in 40 minutes and 36 seconds, finished at 8:30 AM. Average walk times for three miles were 13 minutes and 19 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes and 14 seconds per lap (vuelta). Total mileage walked to day was 6 miles on the elliptical and three miles on the trail. Total mileage was 9 miles. Cleaned up the computer room. The printer was not working. Counselor Reyes informed me that five new inmates will be joining us today at the camp. I asked counselor about my offence points. He told me I will have to get the information from Case manager Mr Echeveste as he has access to all my case information. Showered at 9:20 AM and changed to BOP uniform. Got the Offence points printout form Mr Echeveste and found out that even with the two point reduction from 27 points to 25 points, my sentence range would be 57 – 71 months which is still higher than the sentence of 49 months. Lunch was served at 10:10 AM. Luncheon menu: Pasta, burrito, shredded chicken, punch and an apple. Talked to Doris at 10:30 AM: Told her that the two point reduction will not help me and told her to tell Thomas Johnson not to pursue it. She will talk to Michael Santos to get more information about my offence level which is 27 points and my sentence was 49 months. It was a surprise that the community lawyer told her that I could get at least 9 months reduction in my sentence. I guess he wanted our business. I told her not to send the Presentencing and Sentencing reports as requested. I told her I did not receive her email that she sent this morning. Went to sewing room to prepare bus bags for the five new inmates and brought some uniforms there. GED / ESL tutoring form 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. I replied to Doris about the two point reduction. I will try to explain to Doris again and she can verify it with Michael Santos and Joseph about it. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Chili, pasta, mixed vegetables, bread and punch. Processed five new inmates to the camp at 5:00 PM. Sent email to Michael Santos and Doris to let them know why the two point sentence reduction will not help me. Census count at 8:00 PM. Census count at 8:30 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was an Okay day: Doris and Patches are well. Found out the two point sentence reduction will not help me. Walked 9 miles. Sent out ACE Class Report. GED / ESL Tutoring.
