12/16/2023 Saturday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 63 degrees F. Started walking at 6:15 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:20 AM. Breakfast menu: Grits, muffin, punch and an apple.

- Call Doris.
- Check email from Doris.
- Email daily diary for 12/15/2023.
- Walk 6 Miles.
- Split stretch.
- Quotations.
- ACE Classes – Stress and your body 5-6 PM (Hosting) and Entrepreneurship 6-6:30 PM.
- Quang Visitation 11:00 AM.
They conducted a urine analysis on me at 6:40 AM. It came back negative. Completed my first four miles in 53 minutes and 1 second. Completed the final two miles in 27 minutes and 2 seconds at 8:00 AM. Average walk times were: First four miles – 13 minutes and 3 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes and 11 seconds per lap (vuelta). Final two miles were 13 minutes and 6 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 11 seconds per lap. The morning started out dark and cold, in the low 40’s. I have not seen the moon for a few days, only at night when i see a partial moon eclipse. The rabbits were out grazing on the field. The dawn sky slowly emerged from the Eastern sky, dark brown, red and blue sky. Gradually more colors were included in the beautiful dawn sky. The big red fiery sun emerged over the horizon and gradually turn to orange then to bright yellow. The sun warmed up the air and i had to remove my jacket. Completed walking at 8:00 AM. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the sunlight. Felt good after the stretch. had some donuts and a nutty bar for snacks. Cleaned up the computer room. Showered at 9:20 AM. Lunch was served at 9:25 AM, I missed the lunch. Had a ramen, some rice, tuna and an apple for lunch. Talked to Doris at 10:00 AM: Doris and Patches are well. They are at the San Francisco show. The show just started. Doris reminded me that Quang and Annie are coming to visit me at 11:00 AM. I told Dori that I will be busy hosting the ACE Class and working on my book and class reports. Quang and Annie arrived at the visitation center at 12:00 PM: They told me about their cruise on MSC Holland. It nickel and dime them. Charges for extra meals and shows. Evidently they did not have a good cruise compared to his cruise on Carnival Cruise. They are planning to visit Asia. Just Dance ballroom had lost a lot of customers because they don’t have any dance lessons anymore. They are still dancing but are cutting back because of inclement weather and safety issues in Oakland. They left the visitation room at 2:30 PM.
Census count at 3:45 PM. Dinner was served at 4:00 PM. Dinner menu: chicken sandwich, green beans, salads and punch. ACE Classes – Stress and Your Body 5-6 PM (Hosting) and Entrepreneurship 6-6:30 PM. Census count at 6:30 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Doris and Patches are well. They are busy in SF doing a show. Quang and Annie visited me. Completed book report – Effective Writing. Walked 6 miles and split stretched. Attended and hosted ACE Classes.
