12/13/2023 Wednesday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 57 degrees F. Started walking at 6:25 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:10 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, muffin, punch and an apple.

- Walk 6 Miles.
- Split Stretch.
- ACE Classes – Parenting 5-5:30 PM and Religious History (hosting) 6-7 PM.
- GED/ ESL Tutoring 12-2:30 PM.
Completed 6 miles walk in 1 hour 20 minutes and 30 seconds at 8;20 AM. Average walking times were: 13 minutes and 9 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes and 12 seconds per lap (vuelta). The morning walk started out dark and cold, temperature was in the 30’s. The beautiful dawn sky gradually appeared as the morning wore on. The analogous colors: brown, red, orange, yellow and the bark blue sky.. It turned into pastel colors as the sun emerged over the horizon. The red sphere looked very big and gradually turned to orange and a small yellow sphere. It is a sight to relish each morning. the sun warm the air and I had to remove my jacket. Finished walking at 8:20 AM. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the sunlight. The stretch was good and I finished, by rolling my legs with the foam core roller at 9:10 AM. Cleaned the computer room. Had a nutty bar, some chips and chocolate clusters= for snacks. Showered at 9:30 AM and changed to BOP uniform. Lunch was served at 10:00 AM. Luncheon menu: Fries, hamburger, punch and an apple. Talked to Doris at 10:30 AM: Doris and Patches are well. they are waiting for Kein to pick them up to go to Chinatown. The SUV is packed with merchandise for the show. Doris just had her blood test. I told Doris that I will be hosting the religious freedom class tonight. I asked Doris to send me $300 to my commissary account, in case I need to buy something. She will call or email me after they get back from Chinatown after the money is transferred. Went to the sewing room to repair some pants and shirts. Met Officer Turner who was unloading some merchandise for the commissary. I asked John Liu to help us unload the merchandise. I introduced John to CO Turner. Turner was impressed with John’s work ethics and asked him to meet him at the warehouse tomorrow for a job. John was ecstatic he finally got a job. Finished help them unload the merchandise and went to sewing room to finish my work. GED/ESL Classes from 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: pizza, spaghetti, salad and punch. Washed my laundry at 5:00 PM. ACE Classes Parenting 5-5:30 PM and Religious Freedom – Buddha (hosting) 6-7 PM. Doris transferred $300 to my commissary account. Census count at 6:30 PM. Census count at 7:30 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Finished my laundry at 9:10 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Doris and Patches are well. They are visiting Chinatown with Kein. Doris transferred $300 to my commissary account. Walked 6 miles and split stretched. Attended and hosted ACE Classes. GED / ESL tutoring.
