Woke up at 5:00 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 55 degrees F. Started Walking at 6:50 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:20 AM. Breakfast menu: cereal, cake, milk, sugar, apple and water (cereal, torta, leche, ezucar, un manzana y agua).

The morning started out dark, raining and cold – 45 degrees F. It rained all night and finally stopped around 6:40 AM. the autonomous car company had their lights on but were not testing their vehicles. Breakfast was served early and no wild life appeared for breakfast as it was dark and drizzling. As the sky brightened, the rain stopped. The walking trails were flooded, but the basketball court was wet but walkable. Walked on the basketball court. Completed 4 miles walk at 7:50 AM, in 50 minutes and 12 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 33 seconds per mile or 57 seconds per lap. The rain started again and I had to stop walking. Today is commissary day and inmates were standing in line for their commissary in the rain. I got my New Balance shoes, note books and snacks from the commissary, I spent $86.05. The New Balance shoes fit well and felt good. Counselor Reyes informed me, we won’t have any new inmates today. Talked to Doris at 8:50 AM: Doris is well and rested. It rained all night in Pinole but stopped at 5:00 AM. It was cold when she let the dogs out. They came out later for their food and were chasing after the birds on the fruit trees. She was disappointed that GSW lost their game to the Huston Rockets, it was a close game. GSW looked like a sure winner with less than a minute to play but committed too many turn overs and ended up losing by one point. She will change the fruits on the Altar and clean the patio. I will be busy with tutoring, book report and working in the sewing room. Th rain stopped and I was able to walk 2 more miles on the basketball court. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:30 AM. Brought some cleaned uniforms to sewing room: repaired jacket and fabricated pillow cases. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: baked chicken, salad, green beans, sweet potatoes, bread and water. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well and rested. She walked 8722 steps, 16.7 inches step length and symmetry was 8.5%. Yesterday was the 312nd consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She was disappointed that GSW lost their game to the Rockets last night. It was a sure win until the last 30 seconds. GSW will play the Timberwolves tomorrow. It was raining so she will defer her yard work until next week. Instead she will walk inside the house. GED/Statistics Tutoring 12:00 – 3:00 PM. Went to sewing room: Stephen Ng cut all 12 dozens pant to 30 inches inseam for hemming, repaired uniforms, repaired jacket, altered sweat pants for Stephen Ng a tradeoff for cutting the pants, repaired pants and sewed tool pouch for Cody Carlson. Had my hair cut by Richardo Prado. Census count at 3:30 PM. The sun was out since 11:00 AM and it turned out to be a pretty nice day. The clouds started rolling in around 3:30 PM. It was forecasted to rain in the next few days until Tuesday of next week. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: 2 hot dogs, salad, fries, buns and water. The autonomous car company had their flood lights on and they were testing their vehicles. Worked on book report Introductory Statistics Part 2. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. The cloud started rolling in, looks like another rainy night. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.

Walked 6 miles and stretched. Good GED / Statistics tutoring sessions. Cut 12 dozens pant to 30 inches inseam. Hemmed 28 dozens pants to date. Lots of custom alteration work. Bought a new pair of New Balance shoes. Had my hair cut.
