Completed first three miles in 40 minutes and 7 seconds. Completed the final three miles in 39 minutes and 6 seconds. Finished walking at 8:00 AM. The morning started out with dark dawn sky on display. The moon was not visible in the sky, probably cover by the earths shadow. The rabbits were out grazing on the field. The temperature was cold in the 30’s and frost on the field. As the morning progressed, the dawn sky with its brilliant colors emerged, it was beautiful sight. As the sun emerged over the horizon, a fiery red sun emerged, the big red sphere gradually turned to Orange and then yellow. The sun warmed up the air. The average walk times were: first three miles – 13 minutes and 9 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes and 12 seconds per lap (vuelta). Final three miles – 13 minutes and 2 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 11 seconds per lap. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the sunlight. Rolled my legs with the foam core roller until 9:00 AM. Cleaned the computer room. Showered at 9:30 AM. Changed to BOP uniform. Lunch was served at 10:00 AM. Luncheon menu: chicken sandwich, beans, salad and punch. Went to sewing room to repair jackets and pants. New boxers for Samson. New T shirt for Chris as he was leaving the camp. Counselor Reyes informed me that a new inmate will join us at the camp today. Went back to sewing room to prepare the Bus bag for the new inmate. Checked email form Doris: She is well and got her Medicare and Medicare Supplement restored. I am glad she had it restored. GED/ESL classes from 12-2:30 PM. Mr Johnson is replacing Mrs. Hubbard. He is getting all the trouble maker student on notice, that he will not tolerate those who do not want to study. They will not be welcomed in his classes. Students who took the GED examination yesterday will not have to attend class until the results are out in a couple of weeks. The GED and ESL classes went well. Talked to Doris at 2:30 PM after the GED classes: Doris and Patches are well. They are packing their inventory for the Saturday show in San Francisco on Saturday. They will visit me on Sunday. She told me she restored her Medicare and Medicare Advantage. The Cortisone shot from Dr. Yang was approved and she will have her shot on 12/14/2023. She will have a copay of $30 when she visit Dr Yang, because she is out of network. DR Scott Lee, Jasmine Lee and Dr Arnold are in the network. I told her I will be hosting the Art History 1 class tonight. She talked to Thomas Johnson, who does not know anything about the e2 point sentence reduction but says he was working on it. I told Doris to give him a week and then go with Michael Santos’s lawyer to file the paperwork. We were offered the flu shot in the dormitory. I elected to have the flu shot at 3:00 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: pasta and ground meat, beans, salad, bread and punch. Found out that Mike, who worked at the Kitchen was sent to the SHU because they found a cell phone on him. Got the pictures when Doris, Patches, Karlee and Chris visited me. Unfortunately, only one picture turned out good. I drop the picture in the mail box to Doris. Repaired sweats for Edward Millan.
