Woke up at 5:40 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 59 degrees F. Started walking at 6:40 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:20 AM. Breakfast menu: Grits, bread, jelly, punch and an apple.

Completed first four miles in 53 minutes and 39 seconds. Completed the final two miles in 25 minutes and 54 seconds at 8:20 AM. Average walking times were: First Four Miles 13 minutes and 14 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes and 13 seconds per lap (vuelta). Final two miles – 12 minutes and 57 seconds per mile or 2 minutes 10 seconds per lap. The morning walk started out dark and cold, in the 30’s. As the sun started to rise, the beautiful colors of the dawn sky was on display. Gradually the colors got lighter as the sun rise. The sun was a reddish glow as it emerged over the horizon and turned to an orange sphere and then to a bright yellow sphere. It was nice to enjoy a beautiful scenery. Otro dias en Paraiso. The beautiful scenery kept my mind off the cold weather. The sun warmed up the air as it ascended to the sky. Finished walking at 8:20 AM. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the sunlight. The split stretch was good but my legs were sore. Rolled my legs with a foam core roller until 9:10 AM. Did not practice Yoga as planned. Had some donuts, a nutty bar and an apple for snacks. Lunch was served at 9:20 AM. Luncheon menu: Biscuits with gravy, fries, punch and an apple. Talked to Doris at 10:00 AM: Doris and Patches are well and they are at the show. I reminded Doris to call Thomas Johnson next week to inquire about: 2 point sentence reduction and restitution. I told Doris I was worried about her Medicare. She said she will have it resolved. They were busy at the show. I told her I will call them after the show.
Census count at 10:00 AM. Played pickle ball form 10:45 – 11:15 AM, good exercise. Showered at 11:30 AM. Took a nap from 12:00 – 1:00 PM. Sent out Class Report for Financial Planning to Prison Professor and Doris. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner menu: shredded chicken, hot dog bun, beans and punch. ACE Classes – Customs of the world 5-5:30 PM and Oceanography 1 – (hosting) 6-7 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census Count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
