The morning started out dark, foggy, cloudy, light breeze and cold – 45 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was filled with dense fog, visibility was 1/2 to 1 mile. The autonomous car company had their flood light on but were not testing their vehicles. The rabbits were grazing in the soccer and baseball fields while Labrona and and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. The birds were perched on the roof and fences waiting for their food. After breakfast, inmates left food on the ground and the birds feasted on them. As the morning progressed the sky brightened, clouds filled the sky except for mid sky where I could see Blue sky and peach colored clouds. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 30 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 15 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 3 seconds per lap. I expanded my walking locations to include the baseball field. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the cold morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the sun set and dusk sky from last night. Spectacular sunset where the sun changed colors from yellow, orange and to red color as it descended. Beautiful analogous colors over the Western horizon filled the dusk sky and the half moon was in mid sky. Then the fog slowly moved in. Opened my eyes to the cloudy blue sky. They called for a fog count but abruptly cancelled it. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. The weather is nice and the dogs are out running around. I told her that the computer room was reopened and I could send and received email. I have a whole week of journals to catch up as well as a book report on Artificial Intelligence. I told her I will be busy with tutoring, ACE Classes, hemming pants and catching up on my journal back log. GSW won their game last night against the Timberwolf and she recorded the game. Counselor Reyes told me, we won’t have any new inmates today. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:30 AM. Went to sewing room: repaired jackets, repaired uniforms for Jon, altered sweat pants for Chris and fabricated pillow case for Yovani. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: chicken tacos, black beans, rice, corn, apple and water. Entered several journals. Hemmed pants. We completed 20 dozens of pants so far. GED/ Statistics tutoring 12:00 – 3:30 PM. the sun was out and the fog disappeared. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count.
