12/8/2023 Friday daily diry from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 53 degrees F. Started walking at 6:00 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:10 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, muffin, punch and an apple.

Completed 6 miles walk at 7:40 AM in 1 hour 19 minutes and 6 seconds. Average walking times were: 13 minutes and 3 seconds per mile ( milla) or 2 minutes and 11 seconds per lap (vuelta). The morning started out dark, foggy and cold. The temperature was in the 40’s. The rabbits were grazing on the field. The trail was dry and great for walking. As usual I was the only one on the trail until later in the morning. The dawn sky was shielded by the thick cloud and fog. I had to wear a jacket to keep warm during the walk. The wind was blowing thus making it cooler. Stretched and split stretched at the dormitory until 8:30 AM. Cleaned the computer room. Had some donuts, nutty bar and crackers for snacks. No new inmates joining us at the camp. Check Doris email: They will visit tomorrow, They are cleaning the garage and the cleaners are coming today. I told her Prison Professor removed my SS# from my 12/6/2023 dairy. Doris will get her Medicare resolved. Showered ay 9:30 AM. Lunch was served at 10:10 AM. Luncheon menu: fish sandwich, beans, punch and an apple. Talked to Doris at 10:30 AM: Doris and Patches are well. Doris will call Social Security about her Medicare and also call to inquire about Medicare supplement. They will visit tomorrow around 11-11:30 AM. Patches liked her custom orthotics and will wear them tomorrow. They bombed the whole house with insecticide. The cleaners will be cleaning the house today. Doris mad sure she has enough money for visitation tomorrow. I told them not to donate anything to Salvation Army as I might need them. I told them I have GED and ESL tutoring from 12-2:30 PM. Went to library to work on my EBRR Class reports. GED / ESL tutoring 12-2:30 PM. GED test set for Monday 12/11/2023 at 8:00 AM. Back to the unit at 3:00 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Spaghetti with ground meat, bread, spinach and punch. ACE Class -Geography & travel – Normandy 5-5:30 PM. Haircut at 5:30 PM. Showered at 5:50 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was good day: Doris and Patches are well. They are cleaning the garage. They will visit tomorrow between 11-11:30 to 2:30 PM. Prison Professor removed my Social Security number form my 12/6/2023 dairy. Doris will try to resolve the Medicare issue. Walked 6 miles and split stretched. Attended ACE Class. Good GED / ESL Tutoring. Haircut. completed EBRR Class Reports.
