The morning started out dark, foggy. cloudy and cold – 48 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was filled with thick fog that moved in and out of the camp and clouds in the mid sky. The autonomous car company flood lights and test facility were barely visible and they did not test their vehicles today. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. The dawn sky was shielded by the thick fog but the sky got brighter as the morning progressed. No wildlife appeared after breakfast an inmates left their food on the ground. As the morning progressed the fog thickened and visibility was reduced to a couple hundred of feet. The birds appeared and feasted on the food on the ground. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 45 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 17 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 5 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced yoga at the basketball court in the fog until 8:40 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the cold morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, balance, flexibility and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the spectacular sunset from yesterday. The big orange sphere descended into the Western horizon changing colors from: yellow, orange, light red and red. The cirrus clouds were peach in color and analogous colors emanating over the horizon. The crescent moon was in mid sky. This scene will have to replace the scene missed this morning because of the thick fog. Opened my eyes to the bright blue foggy sky. Fog count at 8:40 AM. Showered an changed to casual clothes at 9:00 AM. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: fried eggs, fries, pancake with syrup, apple and water. Census count at 10:00 AM. They had a recount to get the count right. The fog was very thick. Talked to Doris at 10:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. She will try to promote her website on Etsy. The dogs are out running around as the weather was clear. The GSW lost their game to the Timberwolves last night. She walked 8815 steps, 16.4 inches step length an symmetry was 7.3 %. Yesterday was the 307th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She will clean out the rest of the backyard. Today is visitation day but she will not be here, She will be here next week. I will work on my Statistics Book Report and catch up on my reading. Th fog was so thick at Atwater that they locked the gates so we had to stay in the dormitory. Read an article about Artificial Intelligence. I will write a book report about it as it was an interesting topic. The gate was finally opened at 12:00 PM when the fog lifted. I was able to go to the library to work on my Statistics book report. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, bread and water. Census count at 6:30 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM. The crescent moon was in mid sky and the autonomous car company had its flood lights on.
