Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 65 degrees F. Started walking at 6:25 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:10 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, muffin, punch and an apple.

Completed first four miles in 53 minutes and 29 seconds. Completed final two miles in 24 minutes and 29 seconds, at 8:00 AM. Average walking times were: First four miles – 13 minutes and 11 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes and 12 seconds per lap (vuelta). Final two miles – 12 minutes and 15 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 3 seconds per lap. The morning walking started out dark and cold. The rabbits were out grazing on the field. Before the sun rise, the dawn sky displayed an array of brown, dark red and dark blue sky. The colors became lighted as the sun started to rise to the analogous pastel colors in the sky. As the sun rise over the horizon, the big orange sphere emerged and started to warm the air. I get to enjoy the beautiful dawn sky almost every morning. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the sunlight. Finished stretching at 8:50 AM. Cleaned up the computer room. Had some donuts and crackers for snack. Checked email from Doris: Doris and Patches were busy at Columbia store shopping yesterday. They had a great time over there and spend lots of money. Showered at 9:30 AM. Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: hamburger, fries, punch and an apple. Called Doris at 10:30 AM: Doris and Patches are well. They went shopping at Vacaville and Patches spent $500 at the Columbia Store. They had a senior discount on Tuesday. Doris bough a couple of T shirts for Siew Lan and Siew Eng. For some reason, Doris’s Medicare was discontinued, I gave her my Social security number for her to contact CalPERS and Medicare to resolve the issue. It was raining at the Bay Area and they are going to clean out the garage. They are still looking for the adult diapers in the garage. I told them the GED students are preparing for their GED examination next Monday. I had to tutor them today from 12:00 – 2:30 PM. CalPERS will call Doris back about the Medicare issue next week (5 days) to see if the Medicare issue is resolved. Doris and Patches will visit on Saturday 12/9/2023. Went to library to practice my Spanish lessons. GED tutoring from 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Nachos, salad, punch and an apple. ACE Class Parenting 5-5:30 PM. EBRR Class – Health and Wellness throughout the life span 6-7 PM. Worked on my Spanish lessons between classes. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was an Okay day: Doris and Patches are well. Unfortunately, Doris Medicare was cancelled. Hopefully CalPERS will get it resolved. Doris and Patches had a good time shopping at Vacaville. Walked 6 miles and split stretched. Attended ACE and EBRR Classes. GED Tutoring.
