The morning started out dark, foggy, breezy and cold – 47 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was foggy in the South and Easterly horizons, sparse clouds in the South and East. The Autonomous car company had its flood lights on and were intermittently testing their cars. No signs of the rabbits grazing on the fields. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with clouds near the suns path were peach color and distance clouds were dark gray. The fog was filled with analogous colors over a band of red haze. The birds were perched on the roof and fences waiting for their food. The birds feasted on the food left by the inmates after breakfast. As the sun rise through the fog and clouds, it changed colors from: red, striated red, orange and yellow, it was hazy and had a halo effect. As the sun ascended it was shielded by the fog and clouds, it finally cleared the clouds and illuminated the sky and warmed the air. Completed 6 miles walk at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 6 seconds. Average walking times were:12 minutes 11 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 2 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court in the morning sunshine until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the cold morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful sunset and the dusk sky from last night. It was as spectacular as the dawn sky and sun rise. Opened my eyes to the foggy cloudy blue sky. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. The weather is bright in Pinole and the dogs are out running around. She walked 8792 steps, 16.6 inches step length and symmetry was 8.4%. Yesterday was the 303rd consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. I told her I will be busy with GED/Statistics tutoring, Statistics Class and hemming pants. She will stay home and do some chores around the house. Counselor Reyes informed me that we will have 3 new inmates joining us today and assigned them to bunk #42 U, 47U and 48U. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:30 AM. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: chicken sandwich, salad, green beans, bread, apple and water. The televisions were blacked out because it tripped a breaker, also it had very bad reception, looks like it was snowing on the television. Went to warehouse to secure inventory for the 3 new inmates. John Liu delivered the new bus bags to us at the sewing room. GED/ Statistics tutoring 12:00 – 1:45 PM. Statistics class 1:45 – 3:00 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: pepper beef, green beans, rice, bread and water. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. The new inmates arrived at the camp at 9:20 PM and we processed them. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
