The morning started out dark, foggy breezy and cold – 48 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was filled with thick fog and visibility was only a couple of hundred feet. I could not see the autonomous car company test facility or its flood lights. I did not see any rabbits on the soccer or baseball fields not by the fence near the basketball court. As the sky brightened, I was able to see some runway lights from the airfield. The birds were perched on the fences and roof waiting for their breakfast. After breakfast, they feasted on food left by the inmates on the ground. Completed 6 miles walk at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 45 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 18 seconds per mile or 49 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky, red haze, analogous colors peeking over the Sierras and peach and gold colored clouds near the suns path. The spectacular sun rise with the sun changing colors as it ascended through the haze, it illuminated the outline of the Sierras creating a picturesque scene, this is the scene I have missed since the rainy and fog season started. Found out that the computer room was shut down today because the CO found some contrabands in it yesterday. It could be lockdown for longer, we will find out more tomorrow. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. She had a good visitation. I told her I will not send any journal today and maybe for a whole week when the computer room is shut down. She is going to breakfast and lunch with Oralia at Denny’s before it closed down at the end of the year. She will try to post her peacock design sweat shirt on her Etsy webpage. She walked 8792 steps, 16.5 inches step length and symmetry was 8.6%. Yesterday was the 301st consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: fried eggs, pancake with syrup, fries, apple and water. Showered and changed to casual clothes at 10:30 AM. Had a short nap and worked on my Statistics workbook. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, carrots and water. Watched some football and worked on my Statistics workbook. It was foggy and cloudy all day and I never saw the sun today. Census count at 6:30 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
