The morning started out dark, foggy, breezy and cold – 38 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was filled with thick fog, visibility was only a couple hundred feet. Several rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, a couple of rabbits were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. As the morning grew brighter, I could see how thick the fog was, the floodlights and test facility of the autonomous car company were covered by the fog so was the air hangars. Several birds were perched on the fence and on top of the roof waiting for their food. After breakfast, they feasted on food left by the inmates. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 12 minutes and 50 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 7 seconds per mile or 49 seconds per lap. The fog lifted up slightly and I was able to see the Floodlights and testing track for the Autonomous car company, but they were not testing their vehicles. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the cold morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized our trip to Huntington Beach. It was a beautiful beach with lots of people: walking, jogging, biking, lifting weights, swimming and sun bathing. We walked out to the edge of the Pier to have a cup of coffee to enjoy the beautiful view. We strolled through town and had lunch at a restaurant on the beach boardwalk. Opened my eyes to the gray foggy sky. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and they are on their way, their ETA is 10:20 – 10:40 AM. I told them to drive safely as it was foggy. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:10 AM. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: fried eggs, biscuits with gravy, fries, apple and water. Census count at 10:05 AM. Checked email from Doris at 10:10 AM: Doris is well and rested. She walked 8775 steps, 16.5 inches step length and symmetry was 8.2%. Yesterday was the 300th consecutive days she close the ring on her iPhone. She finished the peacock design on her sweat shirt. She will visit me today, ETA 10:30 – 11:00 AM. Doris arrived at the visitation room at 10:30 AM. We has a recount again at 10:40 AM because the original count was wrong. Went back to visitation after the recount. Doris is well. We had Dr Pepper, potatoes chips, vegetable thins, butter fingers and Hershey candy bar. She check out the halfway house in Oakland and it was near Lake Merritt. It was an old 2 story Victorian building about 5900 sq. feet. I could be sent to this facility in the future. She finished her peacock design on her sweat shirt and it took her about 3 1/2 days to embroided it. She said it was a pretty design and will list in on her Etsy page. She asked me if she had to renew her Medicare, I told her to check with Medicare and at the same time ask them about Medicare C and D. Geok and family will be in Melbourne for Krystal’s wedding and Mariam will have their wedding too. She asked why I have not have too many ACE Classes, I told her we had restriction to 4 ACE Classes per quarter. I had to stop ESL tutoring due to lack of interest. I will continue with GED/Statistics Tutoring. They will have the Statistics final examination on 12/3/2024. She was still bruised from her fall a couple of weeks ago but is getting better. She did not dare to call 911 as they will send her to a nursing home facility. Oralia and her are going to Denny’s for lunch before it closes. She will watch the GSW/Suns game tonight. She left the visitation room at 2:00 PM, as visitation was cut short. We had a very good visitation. She has her rides to visitation all lined up already. Surprise shakedown at 2:30 PM at the dormitory, It lasted until 5:00 PM. Today had been a foggy an cloudy day, the sun was not out at all today. Census count at 3:30 PM.
