The morning started out dark, cloudy, breezy and cold – 46 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was cloudy moving from the West to the East and breezy. The autonomous car company tested their vehicles, the flood light were still on in the morning. No signs of the rabbits for a few days. As the morning progressed, the sky brightened and clearing in the clouds was staring to move from the West to the East. No signs of the birds or squirrels after breakfast, so the inmates left their food on the ground. Today was commissary day and inmates were out braving the weather to get in line for commissary. As usual I did not need anything from the commissary. The birds appeared and feasted on the food left on the ground by the inmates. The sky brightened and clearing from the West was growing and moving Eastward. Completed 6 miles walk at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 12 minutes and 5 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 1 second per mile or 48 seconds per lap. Stretched and split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the cold morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose an visualized our trip to Del Coronado, San Diego. We crossed the Del Coronado bridge, no toll collection. It was a nice cute small town with manicured lawn and small houses except for newer beach front properties. It had a beautiful view of the San Diego sky line across the bay. We walked all over town and visited the Del Coronado hotel, it was an old historic hotel built in the 1900’s. This was the hangout for Hollywood stars and tycoons. The hotel had lots of unique plants and trees, it had an old Dragon tree which was planted in the 1900’s. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant. Strolled along the white sand beach, took a lots of pictures and had coffee and ice cream in their outdoor sitting area. Opened my eyes to the cloudy sky and the sun was finally breaking through the clouds. The autonomous car company turned off their floodlights. It was blue sky behind the clouds. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested, the dogs are out and running around the backyard. Diana is not coming over today as she is still under the weather. Doris is contemplating about cleaning the front and back yards. I told her I will be busy with GED/Statistics tutoring, GED Calculator Applications class, ACE Class, repairing uniforms and hemming pants. Yesterday was the 297th consecutive days she close the ring on her iPhone. The dogs are well an running around. She will clean the Altar and yards today. She will enjoy the GSW/Thunders game tonight. It was clear blue Sunny sky at 11:00 AM, clouds were towards the East at the Sierras. Finishe dmy laundry at 11:30 AM. GED/Statistics tutoring 12:00 – 1:30 PM.
