11/25/2024 Monday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:00 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 56 degrees F. Started walking at 6:00 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:50 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, cake, milk, sugar, apple and water (Harina de avena, torta, leche, ezucar, un manzana y agua).

- ACE Classes Geography and Travel Southeast Asia 5-5:30 PM and Culinary art 1, Professional Chef 6-6:30 PM.
It rained all night and is supposed to continue until tomorrow afternoon. The morning started out dark, overcast, drizzling and cool 51 degrees F. The autonomous car company turned their flood light back on last night. The walking trail was flooded. No signs of the rabbits or any wild life out on the trail. As the morning progressed the rain stopped and rained through out the morning. Walked two miles on the basketball court in between the drizzle. Completed walking 2 miles at 8:40 AM, in 24 minutes and 6 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 3 seconds per mile or 49 seconds per lap. The autonomous car company turned off its flood light as the sky brightened. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. It was raining in Pinole and the dogs stayed in their dog house, coming out only for food and water. She read my book report on Statistics and it was too technical for her. I told her that was what I had to tutor the Statistics students. GSW is playing the Brooklyn Nets tonight. Hopefully they will do a better job tonight. She will walk indoors and work on her Etsy designs. She knew I have tutoring and ACE Classes to night. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:30 AM. Went to sewing room: Hemmed 2 dozens pants, exchanged floor blanket for Mr Johnson and put away cleaned uniforms. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: tacos, black beans, corn, rice, apple and water. Counselor Reyes informed me that we will have a self surrender inmate tomorrow and assigned him to bunk # 57 U. Checked email from Doris at 11:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. She walked 8692 steps, 16.2 inches step length and symmetry was 7.3%. Yesterday was the 295th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. It rained all night and it was still raining in Pinole. Diana is feeling much better but is not coming over today. She is working on a new design, hopefully it will be completed soon. She will stay home today, walk indoors and enjoy the GSW/Brooklyn Nets game tonight. She read my book report on Statistics but it was too technical for her. Went to sewing room to hem pants. Completed 6 dozens pants so far. GED/Statistics tutoring 12:00 – 3:30 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Pizza, spaghetti with Marinara sauce, salad and water. The weather was cloudy all day but it was dry except a light drizzle. The autonomous car company turn their flood lights on. ACE Classes Geography and Travel – South East Asia 5-5:30 PM and Culinary Art 1, Professional Chef 6-6:30 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Doris is well and rested. She walked 8692 steps, step length was 16.2 inches step length and symmetry was 7.3%. Yesterday was the 295th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. Walked 2 miles and stretched. Good GED/Statistics tutoring sessions. Attended ACE Classes. Hemmed 6 dozen pants so far.
