Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 59 degree F. Did not walk this morning, weather was frigid temperature was 32 degrees F. Breakfast was served at 6:20 AM. Breakfast menu: oatmeal, bread, jelly, an apple and punch.

Plan for Today:

  1. Stretch.
  2. Call Doris.
  3. Check email from Doris.
  4. Email daily diary for 11/24/2023.
  5. Walk 6 miles.
  6. Split stretch.
  7. Yoga.
  8. Quotations.
  9. ACE Class Entrepreneurship 6-6:30 PM.

Went to the library to work on my ACE Class report. Talked to Doris at 8:45 AM: Doris and Patches are on their way and ETA is 10:30 AM. I told them that we had a power outage yesterday, phone and email services were restored at 8:00 AM today. They were in Stockton and headed to Tracy. They will not be bringing the Persimmon bread and cookies, Diana’s grandson accidentally took it. Doris told me the temperature was bout 40’s inn the Bay Area. I told her the temperature was about 32 degrees F this morning, but it is warming up, expected temperature was between 59 – 63 degrees F.
Showered at 9:20 AM, changed to BOP uniform. Census count at 10:00 AM. Lunch was served at 10:50 AM after the count was cleared. Doris and Patches arrived at the visitation room at 10:20 AM but I met them at 10:50 AM after the count was cleared. It was good to see Doris and Patches. We discussed: they found a new route to Atwater Camp. They will try get here after 11:00 AM to allow me to have my lunch in future visits. They have a show on 12/2/2023 and will visit me on 12/3/2023. They harvested a lot of persimmons and figs. They dried some Persimmons in the food dehydrator, they did not think they dried it enough compared to the persimmons which I dried last year. I told them to squeeze the dried persimmons to see if liquid comes out, then it is not dried enough and cannot keep for too long as it would get moldy. Patches said the oranges were sour, I told her the oranges are not ripe yet. They will be ripe in late December or January. I told them of the power failure yesterday at 1:30 PM and telephone and email services were not restored until 8:00 AM today. Doris was worried as she thought something might have happened to me. I told her phone and email outage is common in BOP and not to get too anxious if she did not receive my email or call in the future. I told her she need to evaluate her perception and belief and challenge any unrealistic thought that she has an replace it with practical thoughts and also compare results of past events. Rather than letting her thought and feelings run wild. I told her I will submit the book report on Criminal Thinking today. She should read to understand about trigger events , beliefs and thoughts and feeling and the consequences so she could achieve the desired consequences. Mava has not follow through on her promise to get a quote to clean the backyard. I am worried that Doris is not getting enough sleep at night as she was nodding off during visitation because she was worried something dire might have happened to me. Mava did not lie Patches because Patches is too independent for her to take advantage like Doris. Patches are treating the dogs very well and they are responding to her. Patches has been busy trimming the fig and Persimmon trees. As well as cleaning the back yard. I told them I could not submit my daily dairy yesterday because of the power outage/ I did not walk this morning because it was too cold, instead I did my ACE Class Report. I told Doris her walking has improved because walked 6635 steps yesterday and her symmetry dropped to 56 % because she is not using the hard cast. We discussed that she should use Patches’ Hoka Shoes with the soft cast, as it will provide support and cushion for her. She should also use the stepper. She will see Dr Scott Lee on 11/27/2023 and Dr Yang on 12/15/2023 for her shots in her knee. Also her appointment with Jasmine Lee on 12/8/2023 for her asthma. patches will try to locate the 2008 and 2009 Niclaire and enjoy it with Doris with their dinner. They left the visitation room at 2:40 PM. I wen back to he unit at 3:00 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served at 3:50 PM. Dinner menu: meat loaf, mashed potatoes, corn, bread and punch. I had three servings of meatloaf, 2 servings of mashed potatoes and two servings of corn, I am stuffed. Talked to Doris at 5:20 PM: They are in the Bay Area and headed towards Berkeley. They tried a different rout back home. Sent out my daily dairy for 11/24/2023 at 5:00 PM. ACE Class Entrepreneurship 6-6:30 PM. Census count at 6:40 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
