The morning started out dark, cloudy, breezy, foggy and cool – 48 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was cloudy in the East and Southern horizons, thick dense fog, the 1/2 moon was in mid sky. The autonomous car company was not testing their vehicles but were testing their flood lights and turned them off after sun rise. The rabbits were not out grazing this morning. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with reddish orange haze, analogous colors peeking over the Sierras, clouds near the sun was peach color, dark gray clouds, 1/2 moon in mid sky and clear dark blue sky towards the North. The birds appeared after breakfast to feast on cakes and bread left by the inmates on the ground. As the sun rise over the Sierras, it illuminated the sky and warmed the air. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 23 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 14 seconds per mile or 49 seconds per lap. The sun was shielded by the clouds and finally cleared the clouds. Stretched, split stretched and practiced yoga at the basketball court in the morning sunshine until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good in the warm morning sunshine. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized our trip to San Diego. We visited Old Town, San Diego and had dinner at Casa de Pico, it was located in the older part of town, which had a mission, lots of old Spanish buildings, different flowers and trees. Near the restaurant were other attractions, gift shops that sells Mexican souvenirs. The restaurant had a fountain at it’s entrance with several margarita glasses. The Mexican foods were excellent, we had Guacamole dips, fresh made tortilla, Fajitas, steaks, fish and we shared a large Margarita among us. We had to sip the Margarita through long straws, the Mariachi band was playing music in the background. We had a really great time. Opened my eyes to the Blue sky with the 1/2 moon in mid sky. The autonomous car company had turned off all its flood lights. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. It stopped raining in Pinole an the dogs were anxious to get out of the dog house. Doris was tired as she fell asleep during the GSW/Spurs game and work up to see them lose the game. I told her the weather in Atwater was nice and sunny and the ground was dry, it was a pleasant morning. I had my morning exercise, breakfast and waiting for lunch. I hope to work on my Book Report on Statistics today. She will clean the backyard and walk outside if the weather warms up. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM.
