It rained heavily last night and the rain stopped at about 5:30 AM. The morning started out dark, wet, cloudy and cool – 53 degrees F. The autonomous car company was not testing their vehicles today. No sign of the rabbits. The walking trail was flooded, but the basketball court was wet but suitable for walking. The air was clean after the rain last night. As the morning progressed clouds were drifting towards the East. The birds showed up in droves after breakfast to feast on food left on the ground by the inmates. As the sky brightened, it was overcast with dark gray clouds except for a clearance towards the Northwest, I could only see a bright spot amid the thick clouds. It was a good morning for walking. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 23 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 15 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 3 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced yoga at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose. The sun finally broke through the clouds but was quickly shielded by the clouds. Checked email from Doris at 8:55 AM: Doris is well and rested.
