The morning started out dark, breezy, hazy, cloudy and cool – 48 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was slightly hazy, cloudy, wind was gusting around 10 mph and the 1/2 moon was in mid sky. The autonomous car company was maintaining their equipment an not testing their vehicle. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with orange reddish haze over the Sierras, analogous colors peeking over the Sierras, clouds near the suns path were peach golden colors, 1/2 moon was in mid sky amid the clouds and dark blue sky. The birds appeared after breakfast and were feasting on the cakes left by the inmates on the ground. As the morning progressed, it was a beautiful display of clouds: clouds in the suns path looked like charcoal ambers, far away clouds were peach and gold colors and underside of the stratus clouds were reddish orange color. As the sun rise over the Sierras, it illuminated the sky and a colorful display of clouds and warmed the air. They fixed the sprinklers systems on the soccer field and backfilled the holes. Finished walking 6 miles at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 32 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 16 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 3 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court in the morning sunshine until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky, spectacular display of colorful clouds, the 1/2 moon in mid sky and the stunning sunrise. Opened my eyes to the cloudy blue sky with the 1/2 moon in mid sky. Nick left for the Oakland half way house this morning.
