The morning started out dark, cloudy, hazy, breezy and cold – 45 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, overcast sky except for clearing above the Sierras and in the Southern horizon. The autonomous car company tested their vehicles at night but stopped at dawn. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. The beautiful dawn sky was on display: band of red haze over the Sierras, analogous colors peeking over the Sierras, lower cirrus clouds were peach golden color and swath of sea foam green below the clouds. The birds appeared after breakfast and feasted on the cakes left on the ground by the inmates. As the sun rise over the Sierras, it illuminated the outline of the Sierras giving it depth an the red haze, illuminated the sky warmed the air. As the sun ascended it was shielded by the clouds. Completed 6 miles walk at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 29 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes 14 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 3 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:40 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the cold morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and the spectacular sun rise. Even though I am incarcerated but I feel free to enjoy the wonders offered by nature. Opened my eyes to the overcast sky. Counselor Reyes informed me that we won’t have any new inmates until 11/24/2024. Cleaned the computer room. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. It was a cold and raining in Pinole. She will stay indoors to walk and work on her Etsy orders. She ordered fruits and flowers online through Amazon and they will deliver her grocery today via Lucky supermarket. Diana call and she was very sick. She bought her stamps online thus they will pickup and deliver her package for US orders only. The delivery and mail pick up service cuts down her reliance on Diana. She will enjoy the GSW/Atlanta hawks game tonight. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:20 AM. Today was commissary day but I did not get anything. Checked email from Doris at 10:00 AM: Doris is well and had a good rest. She walked 8713 steps, 15.7 inches step length and symmetry was 8.5%. Yesterday was the 290th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She ordered her grocery through Amazon and Lucky Supermarket will deliver her grocery.
