The morning started out dark, hazy, cloudy light breeze and cold – 49 degrees F. The full was in mid sky last night. The lower atmosphere was hazy, the sky was overcast except for clearing above the Sierras and Santa Lucia highlands. The dawn sky was on display with reddish orange haze, dark gray clouds, a layer of green band on top of the haze and the big yellow brown moon was setting on the Western horizon. Breakfast was served early, no wildlife appeared after breakfast and the inmates left their food on the ground. As the sun rise over the Sierras, the red sphere changed color as it passed through the haze from: red, orange, yellow and covered by the gray clouds. The bottom part of the clouds on the suns path was mauve and reddish color. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 40 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 16 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 3 seconds per lap. The two EBRR classes were cancelled. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:40 AM. The stretch and yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized our trip through Reno, Nevada. We checked into the Circus Circus hotel. We walked all over Circus Circus and Silver Legacy. We had our dinner buffet at the Silver Legacy and stuffed ourselves. Gambled a little at the casino but did not win anything. Opened my eyes to the cloudy sky, Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. It was cold and raining in Pinole, even the dogs stayed in their dog house.
