Walking time for first three miles were 14 minutes 6 seconds per mile or 2 minutes 42 seconds per lap. The morning walk started out with low clouds that shielded the sun rise. The scene where the cloud was illuminated by the sun looked angry. The sun finally cleared the clouds after 9:00 AM. Had some chips for snacks. Showered at 9:40 AM. Talked to Doris at 10:10 AM: Doris is well and she picked up Patches from the airport and they are back home. O told Patches to rest up and enjoy some of the fruits in the backyard. Patches will sleep in my bedroom. I told her to enjoy the wine in the house. They will go shopping tomorrow as she wants to rest. Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: Tortilla, shredded chicken, beans, banana, corn and punch. Went to sewing room to hem and cut some pants until 12: 00 PM. GED tutoring from 12-2:30 PM. Several students in the first class are starting to understand the math concept and they are learning well. Back to the unit at 3:00 PM. Dinner was served at 3:05 PM. Dinner menu: Chili, rice, soya, bread and punch. Back to the sewing room to hem pants. Completed cutting all pants. Talked to Doris at 6:00 PM: Doris is well and she is happy. Patches is cooking dinner and she boiled some ginseng soup for Doris. I told her we were busy cutting and hemming pants. The GED tutoring went well, several of the students are starting to understand and learning algebra very well. They will have some wine with their dinner. Dr Jasmine Lee said Doris’s Asthma is under control, but she should keep taking the medications. She can drink a little wine with Patches.
