Finished walking 6 miles at 8:10 AM, in 1 hour 18 minutes and 22 seconds. Average walking times were 13 minutes and 4 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes 11 seconds per lap (vuelta). The morning walk started out with the beautiful dawn sky and shortly after, the sun rise, beautiful big orange sphere. The temperature was comfortable. The final three miles was at a faster pace as I was trying to make up time. Worked up a good sweat. Stretched at the basketball court in the sunlight. The stretch was good but my muscles were sore, I had to roll it with a foam core roller. The split stretch is coming along nicely, my range of motion and flexibility is improving. Rolled with foam core roller to relieve my soreness after the stretch again. Practiced my Yoga, went through most of my poses and finished with the corpse pose, opened my eyes to the bright blue sky (ciello es Azul). Had a banana, an apple, some chocolate and some donuts for snacks. Census count at 10:00 AM. Lunch was served after the count. Luncheon menu: Scrambled eggs, French toast with syrup, French fries and punch. Talked to Doris at 10:25 AM: Doris is well, she is happy and she walked about 5100 steps, step length was 14.2 inches and symmetry was 62 %. I told her her health has improved tremendously and she should keep up the good work. She has an appointment with Dr Scott Lee on 11/28/2023, hopefully he will prescribe some corrective lenses for her. Diana mad some Persimmons bread but Doris was not used to tasting Persimmon bread. Kein will be dropping by the house to pick up some Persimmons. The neighbors might drop by to pick some Persimmons too.. She asked how many pants have we hemmed, I told her we have hemmed 3 dozens and cut 24 dozens pants so far. told her I will be busy working in the sewing room today and Jon will be helping me. She has a show in San Francisco in December, she will meet with Komichi and Ryan Kobayashi to inquire about the volunteer services. She has been practicing getting up and down from the couch, she can sit down slowly instead of flopping on the couch but still have slight problem getting up from the couch with using her hand to push herself up. I told her she is close to doing it, just keep practicing. Hopefully she will be able to do it soon. I told her I was tired yesterday form all the exercise and work in the sewing room. She said it take a lot of concentration to hem and cut the pants. Also carrying the boxes of 24 pants in each box is pretty heavy. Showered at 11:00 AM. Went to the sewing room to cut and hem pants. Washed my laundry at 11:20 AM. Finished my laundry at 1:00 PM. Jon hemmed the pants while I packed the hemmed pants and cut the pants to the proper length for hemming. Thus far we have hemmed 10 dozen pants and cut another 20 dozen pants. Only 18 dozens left to cut. Back to the unit at 3:00 PM. I was tired after working in the sewing room. Census at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: chicken breast sandwich, punch, fries and a banana. Took a short nap and went to library to prepare my ACE Class report.
