Finished walking 6 miles at 8:00 AM, time for walk was 1 hour 20 minutes. Average times were 13 minutes and 20 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes 14 seconds per lap (Vuelta). The morning started out with the beautiful dawn sky but it was chilly. The sunrise was beautiful with some scattered clouds in the foreground. The pace for the first three miles were slow until my body warmed up. It was a pleasant morning walk. Stretched at the basketball court in the morning sunlight. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga until 9:50 AM. The split stretch was tough as I had some sore muscles. But it went well. practiced my Yoga in the sunlight, it was a nice and relaxing session. I went through most of my poses. Rolled my legs with a foam core roller, felt better after rolling my sore muscles. Census count at 10:00 AM. Had some donuts and a banana for snacks. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: hamburger, fries, punch and a banana. Talked to Doris at 10:35 AM: Doris is well and slightly tired. She walked over 6100 steps, her step length was 14.2 inches and her symmetry was 62 %. That’s a vast improvement. She asked about the GED tutoring today, I told her it was cancelled because of Veteran’s Day. I will be busy cutting up the pants for hemming, I have cut more than 14 dozen so far. I told her the CO Ward was working in visitation today, not sure if he will be working when she visits next weekend. She will get the neighbors to pick some Persimmons this weekend. The dogs are well. Diana is out of town today. Doris was happy that her health is improving. She will get a shot form Dr Yang next month. She has an appointment with Dr Jasmine Lee on 11/13/2023 and on 11/28/23 she will have an appointment with Dr Scott Lee, hopefully he would prescribe some corrective lenses for her. Took a nap. Showered at 12:00 PM. Went to sewing room to cut and hem pants. Jon gave me a helping hand. We completed cutting 28 dozen pants and hemmed 3 dozen pants. We will do it again tomorrow. Dinner was served at 3:05 PM. Dinner menu was hamburger helper, salad and bread. Census count at 3:30 PM. Went to library to work on my class reports and book reports from 4-7:00 PM.
