The morning walk started out dark and cold. As the sun rise, the dawn sky with its full array of colors was on display and the sun rise orange sphere was spectacular. As the sun rose, it warmed the air and made it comfortable. Finished walking at 8:00 AM, stretched in the sunlight at the basketball court. Stretching in the sunlight was pleasant. Completed my split stretch and roll my legs with a foam core roller, felt great after rolling my sore legs. Completed stretches at 8:50 AM. Had some donuts, nutty bar and warm water for snacks. Talked to Doris at 10:05 AM: Doris is well. She read my yesterday dairy and knew I was going to be busy hemming 49 dozen of pants. She walked yesterday, though she was frustrated, her step length improved to 16.2 Inches. I told her when she is frustrated or upset, her step length usually increases. I told her the GED classes were cancelled in preparation for the Veteran’s Day event and barbeque for the officers. I had to cut the conversation short as they were serving lunch. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: baked chicken, rice, bread, punch and an apple. Went to sewing room to cut pants to proper length for hemming. Finished cutting until 3:00 PM, completed cutting 14 dozens pants thus far. Dinner was served at 3:05 PM. Dinner menu: shredded chicken, beets, salad, bread and soup. Census count at 3:30 PM.
