11/78/2023 Wednesday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up and changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 62 degrees F. Started walking at 6:00 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:10 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, muffin, punch and an apple.

- Walk 6 Miles.
- Split Stretch.
- Quotations.
- ACE Classes Parenting 4-4:30 PM and Addiction 5-5:30 PM.
- GED Tutoring 12 – 2:30 PM.
- Hearing test at 10:00 AM.
Finished walking at 7:40 AM, time for 6 miles walk was 1 hour 18 minutes and 45 seconds. Average times were 13 minutes 8 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes 12 seconds per lap (Vuelta). The morning started out dark and cold, no cloud in sight. The dawn sky was beautiful. The sun rise was spectacular with the dawn sky in the background. The sun warmed the air up and the rest of the walk was more comfortable. Stretched in the sunlight at the basketball court from 7:40 – 8:20 AM. The stretch was good and practiced my split stretch. Felt good after the stretch. Rolled my legs with a foam core roller. Had some donuts, nuts and a nutty bar for snacks. Talked to Doris at 9:20 AM: Doris is well. She exercised to get up and down from the couch. She asked why I was early today, I told her I had a hearing test at 10:00 AM and I am not sure how long it would take, She will mail the Release plan today, hopefully I should get it in a week or so. Doris, Patches and Mava will be visiting me on 11/19/2023, in the early morning as Mava had a church event at 9:00 AM. Doris has a show on 11/18/2023. She inquired about my Art History class as well as the GED tutoring. I told her that they went well. The Art class is good because only those interested will enroll in the class, whereas the GED class is different, they are required to take it regardless.
Went to the main penitentiary and found out the lady who does the hearing test did not show up. Lunch was served at 10:10 AM. Luncheon Menu: fish sandwich, beans, rice and punch. Showered at 10:50 AM. GED class was cancelled for today because Mrs. Hubbard had to work in the Penitentiary. Went to the sewing room to do some repairs. Jon delivered 49 dozens of Khaki pants for hemming. Started cutting pants to proper length for hemming, completed cutting 5 dozens of pants. back to the unit at 3:00 PM. Dinner was served at 3:10 PM. Dinner menu: spaghetti, salad and pizza. Census count at 3:30 PM. ACE Classes Parenting 4-4:30 PM and Addiction 5-5:30 PM. Worked on my Spanish lessons until 7:00 PM. Census count at 7:30 PM. Census count at 8:30 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Doris is well. She did some walking. Walked 6 miles, did the split stretch. Attended ACE Classes. Hearing test was cancelled again. Doris is sending the Release plan to me today.
