The morning started out dark, hazy, light breeze, and cool – 56 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, the sky was overcast except for a clearing in the Southeast over the Sierras. The autonomous car company was testing their vehicles. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. The dawn sky was on display with a band of red haze, analogous colors peeking over the Sierras and clouds in the path of the sun was orange and gold color and gray clouds. As the morning progressed, the sky brightened and analogous colors radiated out of the suns path: red, orange, yellow, light green and gray clouds. As the sun rise, the large reddish orange sphere brightened the sky but was quickly shielded by the clouds as it ascended. The birds feasted on the food left by the inmates after breakfast. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk and I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized our trip to Bandelier National Monument near Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was popular for its painted caves and there were lots of spires and the painted caves. then we visited the Puye cave dwellings. It was amazing that the natives in the Southwest lived in numerous cave dwellings. Opened my eyes to the gray sky but the sun was finally breaking through.
