11/3/2023 Friday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 73 degrees F. Shakedown at the dormitory at 5:45 AM. Breakfast was served at 8:00 AM. Breakfast menu: Muffin and an apple.

- Check email from Doris.
- Email daily diary for 11/2/2023.
- Walk 6 miles.
- Split Stretch.
- Quotations.
- ACE Class Small Business Seminar 6-6:30 PM.
- Haircut.
The shakedown lasted until 9:30 AM. Called Doris at 9:40 AM: Doris is well and busy working on her inventory. I told her about our shakedown. Mava is driving Doris to Atwater for visitation tomorrow. Patched might be here on the weekend of 11/9/2023. She might drive here with Doris later. Francis did not participate in the house cleaning. Doris did not walk because she was busy working on her order and she finally finished the order and she is waiting for Diana to take her to shop it at the post office.
Went back to the sewing room and everything was messed up. The CO told me about three inmates were in the sewing room ransacking the place and he had to chase them away. I had to put everything back and cleaned up the place. Back t the unit at 11:45 AM. Counselor informed me that there will be two new inmates joining us today. GED tutoring from 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Showed several students how to program the calculator for quadratic equations. Made life easy for them. Also help several student with their problems. Exchanged 3 – 40X32 pants for Molina. Exchanged 2 large shirts and 2 34X30 pants for Hector. Dinner was served at 3:10 PM. Dinner menu: spaghetti w/ ground meat, spinach, salad and bread. Counselor informed me that the two inmates were intoxicated and were sent to the penitentiary instead of the camp. Census count at 3:30 PM. Went to sewing room to do some sewing. Back to the unit at 5:00 PM. Haircut at 5:20 PM. ACE Class Small Business Seminar 6-6:30 PM. We had an examination for the Small Business Seminar and I passed it. Showered at 6:45 PM. Census count at 7:30 PM. Census count at 8:30 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was an okay day despite the shake down: Doris is well, she completed her order and shipped it out. Cleaned up and organized the sewing room. GED tutoring went very well. Had my haircut for tomorrow visitation. Doris will start working on my Release plan.
