The morning started out dark, hazy, cloudy, breezy and cold – 47 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, clouds over the Eastern and Southern horizons, no sight of the moon this morning. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with band of red haze over the clearing over the Sierras, analogous colors peeking over the Sierras and dark blue sky. The autonomous car company was testing their vehicles in the Tully fog. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. As the morning progressed, the sky brightened, the clouds over the path of the sun were lit up with analogous colors: red, orange, yellow, mauve and fuchsia. After breakfast the inmates left food on the ground for the squirrels but the birds were feasting on them. As the sunrise over the Sierras, the clouds on its path were very colorful and the outline of the Sierras was very distinct, creating at picturesque scene. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 12 minutes and 45 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 8 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 2 seconds per lap. Attended the EBRR Class Traumatic Stress and Resiliency at 7:30 AM. Today was the last day of class and Ms Cota gave us our certificates. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga from 7:45 – 9:00 AM. The stretch and yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. The fog lifted around 8:20 AM. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized our trip to Williams, Arizona, which was on our Route 66 trip. It was like an old fashion cowboy town, rustic, lots of old signs. As usual lots of gift shops and galleries catering to the Western theme. We strolled around town, had a nice lunch with some beer. Opened my eyes to the blue, cloudy but sunny sky. Talked to Doris at 9:10 AM: Doris is well and rested. It was cold in Pinole, I told her it was cold in Atwater too, 47 degrees F. She will stay indoors and do her walking.
