11/1/2023 Wednesday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform, and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today 73 degrees F. Started walking at 6:20 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:10 AM. Breakfast menu: oatmeal, muffin, punch and an apple.

Plan for Today:

  1. Stretch.
  2. Call Doris.
  3. Check email from Doris.
  4. Email daily diary for 10/31/2023.
  5. Walk 6 miles.
  6. Split Stretch.
  7. Quotations.
  8. ACE Classes Parenting 4-4:30 PM and Addiction 5-5:30 PM.
  9. GED Tutoring 12-2:20 PM.

Completed 6 miles walk at 8:05 AM, in 1 hour 18 minutes and 15 seconds. Average times were 13 minutes and 1 second per mile and 2 minutes 10 seconds per lap. Time were slower because of the cold weather. The morning started out dark and cold. The moon was smaller than it was a couple of days ago. the temperature was about 48 degree F. the rabbits were our feasting in the field. The dawn sky was beautiful gradually getting lighter as the sun rise. The Orange sphere was larger as it was closer. Beautiful and glorious sun as it rise, it warmer up the air. Stretched and split stretched at the training room until 8:40 AM. Showered at 9:20 AM. Lunch was served at 10:00 AM. Luncheon menu: Hamburger, fries and punch. Talked to Doris at 10:30 AM: Doris is well, still getting over the Flu/Covid shot. She asked about some revisions to the Release Plan and she will work on it over the weekend. She asked about sending the Release plan to Prison Professor. I told her to send the original and the revised plan to Prison Professor after she completed the revision. She told me she was drinking some muscle milk and she had diarrhea drinking it. She told me there was 25% Lactose in the milk and she is not going to drink it anymore. The Lactose is probably what the gave her the diarrhea. the dogs are well. Francis changed the battery in the home alarm and showed Doris how to use the Tablet to turn the alarm on and off. She asked about my sewing, I told her I was accumulating my sewing and doing it all at once to minimize access to the sewing room. Reduce the chances for inmate form sneaking into the sewing room to burglarize the room. She told me that Kein had twisted his ankle, hope he gets well soon.
Went to the library to practice my Spanish lessons. Ged Tutoring from 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Practiced Spanish until 3:00 PM. Dinner was served at 3:10 PM. Dinner menu: Nachos, cheese and salad. Census count at 3:30 PM. ACE Classes – Parenting 4-4:30 PM and Addiction 5-5:30 PM. Worked on my Spanish lessons from 5:30 – 7:00 PM. Received some good news from Doris, She walked 6362 steps today, transferred funds to my commissary account and Patches got her Visa. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census Count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was good day: Doris is feeling better. She started walking again. She sent funds to my commissary account. Patches visa was approved. Walked 6 miles, Split Stretch. Attended ACE Classes. GED tutoring classes went well. House alarm was fixed. the dogs are well. Spanish lessons.
