The morning started out dark, cloudy, breezy, hazy and cold – 48 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, clouds in the Eastern and Southeastern horizons, u shaped crescent moon in the Southeast sky and dark blue sky. The autonomous car company was testing their vehicles this morning. Th rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. The dawn sky was on display with cloud over the Eastern horizon with a variety of colors and analogous colors peeking over the Sierras and U shaped crescent moon in the Southeastern sky. As the morning progressed the sky brightened and the clouds were brilliantly lit with colors: red, orange, yellow, mauve, light and dark gray, light green clearing over the clouds, and the distinct outline of the Sierras. After breakfast, the inmates left some food on the ground and the birds were feasting on them. As the sun rise over the Sierras, it was a beautiful display of colorful clouds, distinct and depth outline of the Sierras and more clouds were moving in. As the sun ascended, it was shielded by the clouds until it finally cleared the clouds. Completed walking six miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and two seconds. Average walking times were 12 minutes and 21 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:40 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk and I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance, breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized out trip to the Big Texan Steak House in Amarillo, Texas, it was part of the Route 66 trip. It was a very large steak house with lots of areas for photo opportunity. We sat by a table where several contestants were taking on the 72 oz. steak challenge. We ordered a variety cuts of steaks to share among us and we had a couple of bottles of Testarossa wine. Th steak was delicious with the wine. We had different pies for dessert. Only one of contestant was able to finish the 72 oz. steak and side dishes. The rest have to pay for their meals. Opened my eyes to the Blue sky with wind swept clouds, the crescent moon was shielded by the clouds. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. Her eyes are clearing up.
