10/30/2023 Monday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:40 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP Uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 70 Degrees F. Started walking at 6:20 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:20 AM. Breakfast Menu: Oatmeal, muffin, and an apple.

- Call Doris.
- Check email from Doris.
- Email daily diary for 10/29/2023.
- Walk 6 Miles.
- Split Stretch.
- Quotations.
- Criminal Thinking 7:30 – 8:30 PM.
- GED Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM.
Completed first three miles in 41 minutes 43 seconds. Attended the EBRR Criminal Thinking class 7:30-8:30 AM. Finished walking at 9:15 AM. Final three miles was 38 minutes and 30 seconds. Average times for first three miles were 13 minutes and 27 seconds per mile or 2 minutes 15 seconds per lap. Final 3 miles were 2 minutes 9 seconds per lap or 12 minutes 50 seconds per mile. The walk started out cold but the moon was bright. Missed the sun rise as I was in class, but the dawn sky was beautiful. Finished walking at 9:20 AM. Stretched and split stretched at the sewing room until 9:50 AM. Repaired a pair of pants for Armando. Lunch was served at 10:00 AM. Luncheon menu: burrito, Cole slaw, banana and punch. Called Doris at 10:30 AM: Doris is feeling better, still under the weather. She asked if we were back to normal, I told her everything is back to normal. She told me that she is coming to visit me this Saturday 11/4/2023 and asked me to call her is there is any change of plans while she is on the way. She inquired about the Release Plan update, I told her I finished the update and will send it to her today. I asked her to update the ACE and EBRR Class summary reports with the submit dates for the four reports I sent her yesterday. She will update my release plan and save it under a new name probably Release Plan Nov 23. I told her I will be busy today with the GED tutoring, Spanish Lessons and more class reports.
Showered at 11:30 AM. GED tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. GED classes went well. Several students are starting to understand Algebra. GED Examination is scheduled on 12/8/2023. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: turkey, pasta, green beans and punch. Make up classes for ACE classes on Sunday. ACE Classes East European Cities 4-4:30 PM, Customs of the world 5-5:30 PM and The Psychology of Incarceration 6-6:30 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census Count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final census count at 9:30 PM. Went to Bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Doris feels better and is walking better too. Doris is visiting on 11/4/2023 Saturday. Walked 6 Miles. Split Stretch. Made up classes for ACE. GED Tutoring classes. Sent revised Released Plan to Doris.
