10/26/2023 Thursday daily diary from Atwater Camp
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched to local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 67 degrees F. Started walking at 6:10 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:15 AM. Breakfast menu: Cereal, muffin and an apple.

Plan for Today:

  1. Stretch.
  2. Call Doris.
  3. Check email from Doris.
  4. Email Daily Diary for 10/25/2023.
  5. Walk 6 miles.
  6. Split Stretch.
  7. Quotations.
  8. GED Tutoring 12-3:00 PM.
  9. ACE Class Financial Planning 6-6:30 PM.

Completed 6 miles walk at 8:20 AM, in 1 hour 18 minutes and 34 seconds. Average time were 13 minutes and 5 seconds per mile or 2 minutes 11 seconds per lap. Time was slow because of the cold weather. The morning walk was dark and cold in the 50’s. trying to walk fast to keep warm. The dawn sky and sun rise was nice and warmed the air up, then it was more comfortable. Stretched in the sewing room until 9:00 AM. The split stretch was easier and my flexibility has improved daily. Repairs some pants and shirts. Repaired sweats for Richardo. Lunch was served at 10:10 AM. Luncheon menu: Baked chicken, mixed vegetables, baked potato, bread and an apple. Exchanged 2 4XL shirts and 2 44X30 pants for Red. Talked to Doris at 10:30 AM: Doris is well and she had a good nights sleep albeit it was short sleeps. She inquired about the burglary at the sewing room. I told her things like this happens but the merchandise were replenished. Diana might come by to visit Doris today. the dogs are doing well and barking at the neighbors dog. She aske d about my Algebra tutoring, I told her some students are interested and other are not. We can only help those who are interested to learn. I told her the tutoring was on week days only and I am free on the weekends. I enrolled in the EBRR class Criminal Thinking that meets every Monday from 7:30 – 8:30 AM until 12/3/2023. She asked about my sewing, I told her I will be busy sewing until the GED tutoring class. Showered at 11:10 AM. Hemmed some pants for Brain Henson. Exchanged 3 T-shirts for Rosas. GED tutoring from 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Good class taught some students to use the graphing functions on their calculator. Dinner was served at 3:10 PM. Dinner menu: Steak and cheese sandwich and green beans. Census count at 3:30 PM. Completed pants repairs for Brian Henson. back to the unit at 5:00 PM. Went to the library to work on updating my Release Plan. ACE Class Financial Planning 6-6:30 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Doris is doing well, the dogs are well. Walked 6 miles. Split stretched has improved. GED tutoring was good, showed some students how to use the graphing functions. Attended ACE Class. Completed all the sewing duties. Doris is walking and sleeping well.
