The morning started out dark, hazy, breezy and cool. The lower atmosphere was hazy with plumes of dark smoke and the 1/2 moon in mid sky moving slowly Eastward. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with; red band of haze, mauve colored plumes of smoke, 1/2 moon in mid sky, analogous colors peeking over the Sierras and the dark blue sky. The autonomous car company was testing their vehicles today. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. As the morning progressed, the sky brightened and analogous colors radiated out of the suns path: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and dark blue sky. After breakfast, the inmates left food on the ground for the squirrels. As the sun rise over the Sierras, the reddish orange sphere brightened the sky and illuminated the outline of the Sierras, giving it depth and creating a picturesque scene. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:25 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 2 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 21 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap.
