Completed first 5 miles in 1 hour 2 minutes and 54 seconds. Final mile in 11 minutes 43 seconds. Finished walking 6 miles at 8:00 AM. The weather was nice to walk albeit it started out dark. The dawn sky was picturesque, lots of color due to the smog and haze. As the sun rise, the dawn sky turn to shades of pastel with the orange sphere illuminating some sparse cloud in the sky, looks like some Rococo paintings without the garden, cupids and people. Beautiful way to start the day. The first five miles, averaged 12 minutes 35 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes 7 seconds per lap (vuelta). Final miles was 11 minutes 43 seconds or 1 minute 56 seconds per lap. The final mile pace was as I was sweating. Stretched at the basketball court in the morning sunlight. performed my regular stretches, split stretch and rolled my thighs and legs with foam core roller. The split stretch is getting easier and my range of motion has improved. Had some donuts and warm water for snacks. Showered at 9:30 AM. Checked and replied to Doris’s email. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: Baked fish sandwich, beans, rice and an apple. Talked to Doris at 10:40 AM: Doris is well and Mava was at the house to put the blankets in the dog house. I told her about my tutoring services for the GED Algebra. She was excited that I finally got the teaching job I was looking for. The BOP phone went dead and we were cut off. Took a short nap and called her at 11:15 AM: She asked if I was teaching in Spanish or English, I told her both and will bring a Spanish dictionary just in case. I told her I will send her the ACE Class report and my write up for the release plan soon. She will be busy working in her room.
Went to sewing room to exchange laundry bag for Brain Henson. Jon picked up the inmates jumpsuits for the penitentiary. Worked on my Spanish lessons. Repaired pants for McKnight.
