10/19/2023 Thursday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 90 degrees F. Started walking at 6:10 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:20 AM. Breakfast menu: Cereal, muffin and an apple.

- ACE Class Personal Finance 6-6:30 PM.
Completed first four miles in 51 minutes 37 seconds. Final two miles was completed in 23 minutes 20 seconds. Average time for first 4 miles was 12 minutes 55 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes 10 seconds per lap (Veulta). Final 2 minutes was faster and averaged 11 minutes 45 seconds per mile or 1 minute 52 seconds per lap. Averaged time for the 6 miles combined was 1 hour 14 minutes 57 seconds averaged 12 minutes 30 seconds per mile or 2 minutes 5 seconds per lap. The morning walk was nice. The dawn sky looked fiery with shades of red and brown. As the sun rise, the fiery shades gave way to a more pastel shade and the glorious orange sphere. Finished walking at 7:50 AM. Stretched at the basketball in the sunshine until 8:35 AM. Did my usual stretch, split stretch and rolled my thighs and legs with the foam core roller. Felt really good after the stretch. Cleaned the computer room. Today was commissary day, but I did not get anything because the things which I needed were out of stock. Has some donuts and an apple for snack. Showered at 9:30 AM. Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: baked Chicken, green beans, sweet potatoes and an apple. Went to the sewing room to do some sewing for inmates. Went by the library to talk to Mrs. Hubbard about tutoring for the GED classes. She asked me to start on Monday at 12:00 PM, Algebra. Back to the unit at 3:10 PM. Dinner was served at 3:20 PM. Dinner menu: 2 hot dogs, Cole slaw and fries. Had a Dr. Pepper to celebrate my new tutoring assignment. We had two ACE Class examinations: Philosophy of Emotions and Sociology. I passed both the examinations. ACE Class Personal Finance 6-6:30 PM. Worked on Math problems for GED Algebra class on Monday. back to the unit at 6:30 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Census count at 8:30 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Doris is well, the dogs are well too. Walked 6 miles. Split Stretched. Will Start tutoring GED Math classes on Monday at 12:00 PM. Passed both ACE Class Examinations. Attended ACE Class. Spanish lesson is going well. Most important, Doris is well.
