The morning started out dark, hazy, cloudy , breezy and cool. The lower atmosphere was hazy with plumes of dark smoke in the Southern and eastern horizons and some sparse clouds. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with band of red haze and mauve colored plumes of smoke, analogous colors peeking over the Sierras and a contrasting dark blue sky. The autonomous car company was testing their vehicles but stopped after sunrise. Th rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. As the morning progressed, the sky brightened and analogous colors radiated out of the suns path: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky. The squirrels appeared after breakfast and were scurrying around begging for food from the inmates. As the sun rise over the Sierras, the reddish orange sphere illuminated the band of red haze, outline of the Sierras and the smoke on its path turning them mauve color, beautiful sight. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 12 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 22 seconds or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 9:00 AM. Educational manager Mr Johnson informed me that Adlison Montiero passed his GED and was proud of his accomplishments and recognized how my tutoring helped him passed the GED. This information was relayed to Mr Larsen as he walked by during our conversation. The Yoga practice felt good after the walk and I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance, and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized our trip to the Painted Desert in Holbrook, Arizona. It was a scenic 30 miles drive as we saw beautiful pastels colored mounds that were eroded to reveal the beautiful colors. We stopped by various vista spots to take pictures. There were also some location where the colors were more distinct like yellow, green, blue colors. It was nice scenic drive, opened my eyes to the blue sky.
