The morning started out dark, hazy, slight breeze and cool. The lower atmosphere was hazy and the moon was setting in the West. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with analogous colors peeking over the Sierras, red band of haze amid the dark blue sky. The autonomous car company was testing their vehicles today. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. As the morning progressed the sky brightened and analogous colors radiated out of the suns path: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky. The squirrels appeared after breakfast and were scurrying around begging for food from the inmates. As the sunrise over the Sierras, the orange reddish sphere illuminated the red haze, outline of the Sierras giving it depth amid the red haze, a beautiful scene. Completed six miles , in 1 hour 14 minutes and six seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 21 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga on the basketball court until 8:50 AM, in the morning sunshine. The Yoga practice felt good after the walk and I was able to exercise all phases: strength, balance, flexibility an breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized our trip to the Petrified Forest in Holbrook, Arizona. We went to the Petrified forest museum to see petrified wood the size of a tree, finished petrifies wood products and hiked on the trail around the museum. Drove along the 12 mile drive of the Petrified Forest. Opened my eyes to the bright blue sky. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: baked chicken, sweet potatoes, green beans, bread and banana. talked to Doris at 9:50 AM: Doris is well and rested. She enjoyed the Warrior game last night, but Curry, Green and Kuminga were bench warmers. I told her it was preseason and they had to evaluate the new players. She asked if I had to work, I told her I will have GED/ESL/Statistics tutoring from 12 – 3:30 PM and ACE Class and work on my ACE Class Reports. She will be busy in the backyard to enjoy the weather, let the dogs out, walk without her cast and enjoy the fruit trees. Census count at 10:00 AM. Checked email from Doris at 10:10 AM: Doris is well and rested. She checked on the FSA calculator and was an extra 40 days FSA credit added thus the earlier Half Way House and Home confinement dates. There were no mention of the Second Chance Act. The only 40 days FSA credit could be from the EBRR Classes I have taken. I will discuss this with Mr. Larsen. She congratulated me of my student passing the GED examination. She will stay at home to work on new designs for her Etsy account. Showered and changed to casual clothes at 10:40 AM. Had a short nap. Went to library to work on my ACE class Reports and reading. GED/ESL/Statistics Tutoring 12:00- 3:30 PM. Good GED and Statistics tutoring sessions. Census count at 3:30 PM.
