Finished walking 6 miles in 1 hour 16 minutes and 0 seconds by 7:35 AM Stretched at the basket ball court until 8:20 AM. Average time was 12 minutes 40 seconds per mile (Milla) or 2 minutes 7 seconds per lap (Vuelta). Decent pace for a morning walk. the morning started out dark but cool. The dawn sky started out nice before the sun rise, it painted a fiery scene when the streaks of clouds were illuminated by the sun. It looked like some scenes from the Baroque paintings. The sun rise was beautiful and the fiery scene faded away to a normal sun rise. What a way to start the beautiful morning. As the sun warmed up the air, couple more inmates came out to walk on the trail. Finished walking and began stretching at the basket ball court in the morning sun. The morning sun felt warm on my skin. After normal stretching, I practiced the stretching’s for splits: Towel stretch, Sumo Stretch and Leg stretch. I could feel the difference after the stretch as my range of motion had improved. Still can’t do the split yet but it is coming. Went back to the unit and found out I had mail. It was the birthday cards form Doris and my family. I had a couple of donuts, a nutty bar and an apple with warm water. Showered at 9:30 AM. Did my laundry at 10:00 AM. Checked mail from Doris and replied: She and Kein, Mava had a dinner last night. They got some figs but not the Persimmons. She wished me Happy Birthday. Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: fried fish sandwich, Cole slaw, rice and an apple. Talked to Doris at 10:35 AM: Doris is well and she sounded good and cheerful. She wished me a Happy Birthday. I told her I received her Birthday card and email and replied to her. She asked about Patche’s visitation, I told her Counselor Reyes will approve it when he receives it. Patches do not have to be on my email contact list. Kein, Mava and Doris had dinner last night at China Kitchen. They picked up some figs but the Persimmons are not ready, probably another week. I told her I practiced the Split stretches and it improved my range of motion and my flexibility. Doris gas up the SUV and got some dollar bills from the bank for tomorrow visitation, they will be here around 11:00 AM. She is looking forward to the Dr Pepper and Skittles. She has been getting 5-6 hours of sleep daily, I told her to take naps if she needs to. Sleep should help her health.
