Finished walking 6 miles at 8:00 AM. Stretched at the basketball court until 8:30 AM. The morning walk started out dark and cool, as usual, I am the only one on the trail. I was counting my lap in Spanish from uno to Trienta y seis, thirty-six laps. Completed the 6 miles in 1 hour 14 minutes 41 seconds, averaged 2 minutes 5 seconds per lap and 12 minutes 27 minutes per mile, pretty decent pace. Th sunrise was spectacular as it was a clear day, without any cloud. Rabbits were out in force while the squirrels were still asleep. Worked up a good sweat. Stretched at the basketball court in the morning sunshine, the warm sun felt good. More inmates started to walk on the trail and moving around in the unit. Dried up and changed to dry t shirt. Ricky gave me a banana. Had some saltine crackers, a banana and bagel with peanut butter as snack after my walk. The snack hit the spot after the walk. Showered at 9:30 AM and changed to BOP uniform. Went to sewing room to do some sewing and practiced my Spanish lessons. Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: Chicken sandwich, rice, beans and banana. Talked to Doris at 10:30 AM: Doris is well but tired because she stayed up all night to finish her order. Mava is outside working on the front yard. They had to pick up some pins from Orchard supply to lay the filter fabric. Mava will leave at 1:00 PM. Diana is coming over to help Doris ship her package. Also to pick up some blue berry for her cereal. I told her to call Thomas Johnson to inquire about my passport and about the restitution case. I told her I will be busy working on the Art History 1 lesson for today and my Spanish lessons. She inquired when was my team review meeting, I told her it was scheduled in December. I should have a good review and I will earned 15 days credit after the review. She said everyone is praying for me to get home early.
Added new items to my commissary list for tomorrow. Went to sewing room to do some sewing. Back to the unit at 3:00 PM. Dinner was served at 3:10 PM.. Dinner menu: Pasta, green beans, salad and bread. i supplemented the dinner with a packet of Mackerel. Went to training room to set up the Art History 1 Class. Ace Class – Art History 1 – 4-5 PM, Religious History 5-5:30 PM and 12 Essential Scientific Concepts 6-6:30 PM. Walk with EASE 7-8 PM. The Art History tutoring class went well. Not bad as it was attended by 13 inmates. We had an examination for Religious Freedom and passed the examination. Received several Certificates for courses that I passed the examinations last week. Reviewed Spanish lessons in between classes. Census report at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 8:30 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
